• CNSS intends to focus on the following Core Areas for Research and Advocacy with the principal aim of highlighting their implications for India, South Asia and Global Security and Peace.
• Centre for Indo-Pacific Studies with focus on Maritime Security, China, IOR and eastern African states, South Asia, ASEAN and QUAD.
• Centre for Emerging and Deep Technologies Studies with focus on their geopolitical implications. This centre will cover the aspects of Cyber Security,Information Warfare, Quantum Computing, AI and Semiconductor Technologies.
• Centre for Non-traditional Security Studies with focus on Sustainability and Climate Change Challenges, migration, human security and internal conflicts.
