India is aspiring to be self-sufficient in the field of defence technologies. The Govt has embarked on an ambitious Atmanirbhar Bharat programme to achieve this goal. Going beyond the Emerging and Deep Technology Programme stated above , CNSS intends to integrate the efforts of armed forces, academia, industry, and investors in reaching this goal, by taking up technology innovation & creation initiatives in dual use technologies. This programme will use the capacities of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences in this field i.e, Ramaiah Techno Centre, Ramaiah Technology Business Incubator (RTBI), Valdel Advanced Technologies and integrate the same with the existing ecosystem in the region
